Ours features assorted items such as Mame Aji Karaage, Japanese Sweet Potatoes, Simmered Fish, Pickles, etc. all served with our donabe cooked rice. This bento is a way for you to try multiple small dishes in one box and get a real feel for everything the season has to offer.

Care instructions for Makunouchi

We recommend eating the Makunouchi as soon as we deliver as the rice and fish are in prime condition. If you plan to eat them later it is recommended to refrigerate them until you are planning to enjoy them. About 15 minutes before you plan to eat, we recommend tempering them to allow the fish and rice to come up to just under room temperature for the best experience. Our boxes are also compostable so please help us minimize impact by composting if possible.
