Pine-scented matsutake mushrooms poke through the fallen leaves, awaiting their chance to fill a room with their cinnamon-like, woodsy aroma. Hearty squash of all shapes and sizes are poised to share their sweet, starchy flesh with us as we absorb their dense nutrients in preparation for the coming cold.
